Don't run on Vista! Try to copy the content of App\WinSxS in Windows\WinSxS
Extract on hard disk or USB key and run OpenOffice*Portable.
If you drag'n drop a file on (or open with) OpenOfficePortable: it will be opened in OpenOffice.
Settings of installed OpenOffice should be preserved.
